"Hi" from more students…

"Hello" from more of my students, who are standing outside of the trailer I teach in now.  The student on the right is dressed up for Halloween (She enjoys dressing up each day in October because she enjoys Halloween so much.  Halloween is celebrated on the very last day of October.)  Behind these students you can see some of the athletic fields being worked on as our new school gets closer to being built.

Here are some of my students.  They are in their third year of high school.  As you can see, they were happy to pose for this picture!  Hopefully in a week or two they'll enjoy "meeting" you on this blog and will have time to comment on your blog entries.  

Russian Students Write...

My name is Vera.I'm 13.I'm in the 7th form, school №4. I live in Bogotol in Krasnoyarsk Region.
I'm clever, responsible and serious.I like theatre very much, it's my hobby.I have been playing at the theatre for six years and I like to communicate with my theatre group.
Also I attend optional subject Literature. My teacher and I write poems, read and analyse texts, make schemes.When our work is completed, we go to school conference.
In the future I want to be an interpreter and go abroad. That's why I work with my tutor of English and read a lot  of books in English. I began reading books on Psychology and want to continue studying Psychology.
I like to travel very much.When I grow up, I'll go to Mexico, Spain and Great Britain. I like interesting places, sights and British culture.I want to live in the UK and study in Oxford.
I hope I will be succeed in my future and will be able to achieve my aims.

Mandalas

     Below are some pieces of art (mandalas) that several of my students created at the beginning of the year.  Each mandala expresses the personality and interests of my students through colors and drawings.  Viewing these mandalas is a way of "meeting" my students, though you will see photos of them in the future. 

Autumn Colours

Autumn is a beautiful season! It's time to gather harvest. Every year a special exhibition is held in our school.Students and their parents make funny things of autumn flowers, fruits, berries and vegetables.They are very skillful!You can find funny animals, fairy tales heroes, cars and buses and many other wonderful handmade things. Look and smile!

  

The Day of Knowledge

School year in Russia begins on September,1. School opens its doors for its students.Traditionally this day is a holiday both for teachers and students.This holiday is called The Day of Knowledge.Teachers and students meet after long summer break. School is decorated with posters, cards and flowers, special performances are prepared for students. Students give beautiful flowers to their teachers.Congratulations and wishes are said to the students.

Hello! We are Russian students from Secondary School  №4. We live in Bogotol.It is a town in Krasnoyarsk Region in Siberia.We are in the fifth form. We study English and want to meet our English speaking friends.
